2018 Library Staff & Volunteer Annual Event
Every year the Friends of the Parkland Library host a celebratory event to honor and to thank the hard work and dedication of the Parkland Library staff, Volunteers, and for the Friend's Volunteers. In 2018 the annual event was held at Cypresshead' s beautiful Clubhouse. Festive music was provided by the music department of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglass High School. Fun was had by all!

Vice Mayor, Ken Cutler presented a moving speech to thank the Library staff and the Volunteers and presented Mr. Joe Green an honor of a Ylang-Ylang tree to be planted at the Community Garden!
